Bald Eagles South Lebanon

For 2 years I’ve been searching for a replacement nest for the 2 Bald Eagles, formerly nesting and fledgling near Stubbs Mill Rd along the Little Miami. Over the 5 years they were producing young there, the nest was blown down twice, and they finally wised-up, giving-up on that old sycamore. I just discovered a nest along the Little Miami bike path near Kings Mill Rd. Does anyone know of that nest and how long it’s been there?

    Hi John H
I don’t have an answer to your question, but thought it interesting that a pair was seen in a sycamore at the corner of Lebanon RD and Loveland Maderia RD 2 days ago.

I have seen both Eagles multiple times in a tree along the Little Miami River ( along Mason -Morrow-Millgrove Rd) since Xmas day, they are always on the same stretch of river between South Lebanon & Stubb-Mills Rd. I walked that stretch of the bike trail on Friday (4/21/17) and saw no nest or Eagle. I would love to talk to you and find out which parts you have searched. I believe the nest you found by the Powder plant belongs to a hawk. At least one was hanging around in that area when I went to see which one you were talking about.
