Hello Jen. Of course the nest near South Lebanon is no longer there so you must be thinking of the 2 nests south of Beechmont. One is active, though they are not on the nest yet, nor are any nesting on all the nests I know of. Unfortunately the 2 nests I mentioned(the smaller has been added to recently so may become active)are on private property with warning signs, and the owners don’t wish visitors in that area. I was allowed as I was reporting nests to ODNR.

There must be some other nests on the Little Miami – we have been looking for years. Just found the 2 nests January 2015. I figure there’s a nest on private Indian Hill property overlooking Wooster Pike, but don’t dare trespass on those properties.

    Mr. Hill,

Could you please contact me in reference to the East Fork Birding Festival this year? My messages are bouncing back to me from the email from last year.

    Thanks, Don
