Observed about 50 sandhill cranes flying east to west over Summit Park at about 3:15 pm.  Two V formations.   Very noisy,

36 White Pelicans were sitting on at the end of the road around 1000. 81 Sandhill Cranes were headed south low over the lake just before this.

It was a chilly but lovely morning for birding, and the parking lot area was very bird-y as people arrived for the walk.   We birded from 8-10:00 AM.  Highlights included a young Red-headed Woodpecker near the dock on Crosley Lake, a Red-breasted Nuthatch and 3 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers near the Playscape.
