Other observers:

Eight great egrets and two great blue herons are feeding together in a ditch draining floodwater from Armleder. The several dead and half-eaten stranded carp show the herons/egrets/vultures/crows/coyote have benefitted from the Little Miami overflow. The bean field pool should be in great shape for May shorebirds.

Shovelers have joined the blue wing teal and yellowlegs in the pools at Lunken.  There I shared the hike/bike trail with a coyote.

Saw a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak on top of our sunflower seed feeder this afternoon at approximately 6:30 PM.
Our feeder is right outside of our window and after the male saw his reflection in the window, he flew at the reflection but was unharmed.  He did this twice!

After slowing going after my camera, he of course would not pose for a picture.  All I got was one shot before he left.  My camera is standing by and hoping he returns tomorrow!!
