10 birders accompanied me on a chilly morning through the Rowe woods area. 33 species seen.

Bird list: Canada geese, Mallards, Turkey vultures, one Cooper’s hawk hunting the bird feeders near the visitor center, Mourning doves, 4 adult Red headed woodpeckers( one seen at tree cavity), Red bellied woodpeckers, one Yellow bellied sapsucker, Downys, Northern flicker, Blue jays, American crows,Carolina chickadees, Tufted titmouse, one Red bellied nuthatch, white bellied nuthatches, one Brown creeper, Carolina wrens, two Golden crown kinglets heard only, Eastern bluebird, American Robin, European starling, Yellow rumped warbler, Dark eyed juncos, White throated sparrows, Eastern towhee,Northern cardinals, Red winged blackbirds, Brown headed cowbirds, House finches, Pine Siskin, and American goldfinch.
