Meet trip leader Dave Helm at the East Fork State Park main beach parking lot. The trip will set out at 8:00 a.m. East Fork in autumn has the ability to produce just about anything from stray Pomarine Jaegers to late migrant songbirds. Meet Dave and other bird club members to scan the large lake for gulls, ducks and other waterbirds, and to look through the woods, fields and edges for songbirds and raptors. Keep an eye on the birding reports for East Fork this week because the local birders cover this area really well and they often find chase-worthy birds this time of year. Given the weather forecast for this week and some of the reports from other sites in our region, Saturday has the makings of an interesting day of birding at East Fork State Park!
