Early spring waterfowl migration should be in full swing. Many species of waterfowl migrate through the Oxbow. Bald Eagles, hawks, gulls, grebes, herons and numerous songbirds — even Sandhill Cranes – are possible. Our trip leader, Joe Bens, is an expert birder, all around naturalist, and knows the Oxbow area inside and out. Shake off your cabin fever and join Joe for an interesting morning of wildlife viewing in the Oxbow.
To reach the Oxbow, take I-275 to the Lawrenceburg, Indiana exit. Turn left onto U.S. 50 at the end of the exit ramp, and proceed about a hundred yards. Turn left onto an unmarked road just past the Shell station. Turn right at the “T” intersection, then left to the meeting spot at the next “T”.
