February Oxbow Program

In the past, Bud has told us about his adventures in some of the most uninviting, bitterly cold regions of the world, including Svalbard in the Arctic Ocean, as well as South Georgia Island, off the coast of Antarctica, where he and a group of adventurers hiked (with snowshoes, sleds, ice picks, and more) the same rugged path taken by Sir Earnest Shackleton in 1916. This time he will tell us of his adventures in dogsledding to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada – the “polar bear capital of the world!”
