Jeff Lowenfels

As part of Midwest Native Plant Society’s annual conference, the Sunday keynote will be open to the public. In addition to the talk, there will be native plant vendors on hand.

Jeff Lowenfels is one of the most humorous and entertaining lecturers on the organic gardening circuit. This talk is a delightful combination of botany, cellular biology and just a dab of metaphysics and good old Lowenfels humor that explains how plants take in their nutrients and what they do with them once they do. You will never look at a plant the same way again.

Advance registration is required, and there is a fee of $10.00 for those who are not registered for the entire conference.
