Join us in welcoming aspiring herpetologist Helen Burdette in her talk about her time herping in the Peruvian Amazon. Peru has a wild diversity of both reptiles and amphibians, spanning from the high altitudes of the Andes, to the cloud forests of the slopes all the way down to the Amazon basin. Containing a wild variety of colorful dart frogs, the world’s heaviest snake, and the intimidating fer-de-lance, Peru has herps that will both amaze and surprise you!
