January Zoom Meeting – Brian Wulker on eBird

Our meeting will feature Brian Wulker, explaining how you can explore data about our local birds using the resources of eBird. Depending on audience interest, he may also get into how and why to put your own sightings into the eBird database, and how to use their Merlin app.

Brian certainly knows his way around eBird, as he is a “regional editor” for 21 counties in the Greater Cincinnati area. That means that he is charged with reviewing unusual records for accuracy. Apart from eBird, Brian has been birding for over 20 years. He is currently employed as a contractor at Fernald Preserve, doing monitoring and land management.
