Sprague’s Pipit

Anthus spragueii

Our only record comes from Oxford Airport. An adult female was collected there, in short sparse grass, on November 15, 1958. That specimen was donated to the University of Cincinnati Collection. Three more birds were found on November 27, one of which was netted and banded (Sheppard 1959). A photo of the netted bird is on eBird, at checklist S32152039.
