Our first record was a photographed bird from Independence, Kentucky on August 23, 2009 (Palmer-Ball and McNeely 2010); this record was accepted by KBRC (Yandell 2012, written description).
Next was one bird photographed below a feeder, in Hamilton County from June 1 through June 3, 2010; accepted by OBRC (Keller 2011).
Another was photographed at a farm in Clinton County on May 29, 2013 (eBird checklist S14284520).
One bird was photographed at a home in Kenton County, April 15 and 16, 2016 (eBird checklist S28967342).
One bird was recorded at a home in Wilmington, April 22 to 24, 2016, and was accepted by OBRC (Lehman 2017).
Beginning in 2018, we have accepted eBird records from every year, usually just one per year.
